Well enough of all that.
Here is a list of supplies I used.
2 1x8x16 carved boards at Wood Connection for $3.25 each
Wood glue
Paint
E6000 adhesive
Fine tip sharpie
Foam and fine tip paint brushes
Copy of font
Last but not least
HORSESHOES (yee-haw!)
I glued the boards together and let them dry overnight. I laid out my newly clean shoes on the boards and traced them to form a shamrock shape so that I knew where to place them. I took them off and painted the traced shape black. As that dried, I used carbon paper and got to tracing out my lettering. Next I filled in my lettering with my green paint. I did my “dry paint dry” dance and grabbed a fine tip sharpie and really set out to have fun. I filled in the lettering with some hand drawn doodle shapes. You’re probably thinking I could never do that, well guess again, you can! It was kinda fun to just doodle away. Get crazy with it. If you’re still struggling think to back to the days of doodling your dreamboats name on your “PEE CHEE”. (Please tell me there’s at least someone out there who knows what a Pee Chee is). Next I took my green paint and brushed a light coat on the “shoes”. Whipped out my trusty E6000 and glued the Horseshoes on my pre-painted black shamrock shape.
You are done! Are you “Giddy” with excitement? I am! In fact I am SHAM-“ROCKIN” it. Hee hee. Well my ladies. I sure hope you enjoy this project and may you have good luck all year long.
Big hugs!
