Tutorial Tuesday- Glitter Animal Prints

I don't know about you but I am a fan of the latest animal print fashions going around. Although I'm not to the point of leopard pants I would maybe wear an animal print scarf or something small like that. But I am to the point of incorporating animal prints into my crafts. Today I am going to show you a fun technique for our animal print paper and adding glitter!

Start by tracing the love onto the scrapbook paper, cutting it out and then painting it all black. Next, take our white wood glue and squeeze it directly onto the wood and smoothing it out with a sponge brush. You want to have a thin even amount over the front surface. Then you'll lay your scrapbook paper over the glue and smooth down. If any paper is hanging over the edge, sand the excess paper off with a sanding block.

Now for the fun part! For the zebra pattern you're going to take the same white wood glue we used earlier and a foam brush and paint the wood glue onto the dark stripes of the zebra pattern. You need to work quickly because the wood glue can dry really fast. For the cheetah pattern you can do small dots of wood glue on the spots of the cheetah print straight from the bottle. Once you have the glue on, stamp the glue into glitter and seal with an acrylic sealer spray.

And BAM you're done! Ready for some Valentine's love? Grrr baby....
