help you take your kid's lemonade stand to the next level with a few tutorials and items

 from The Wood Connection.

Let's get started with my first tutorial on chalk board signs

You Need: 

8x10 wood block

8x8 wood block

2 wooden dowels at different lengths

Chalkboard Paint

and colored chalk

What To Do:

step 1: Prime your wood block.

Step 2: Paint with your color of chalkboard paint. Follow directions on the bottle.

Step 3: Chalk over the whole board. This will help get chalk into all the pours of the wood and allow you to write over and over with out seeing what you previously wrote on the chalk board.

Step 4: Choose your price :) 

Step 5: Place on wooden dowel and insert into grass

This cute bench from The Wood Connection is perfect for a lemonade stand, or a photo booth at any party. Every Party these days needs a photo booth. I love how it brings out the best in your party guests!

You Need:

A bench from The Wood Connection (they are only $21.95)

2 wooden dowels

2 small screw eyes (purchased at home depot)

duct tape

bakers twine

paper

Step1, 2, and 3: Get your bench, prime, and then paint it. Easy enough right?

 You can stop here or keep on going to create the banner on top of the bench.

Step 4: Screw in the screw eyes into your dowel, and tie your bakers twin through each loop to create the banner. I used glue dots and paper from The Wood Connection to create my pendant flag.

Step 5: Duct tape your dowels to the back of the bench. I didn't nail gun it in because I wanted to keep my options open, and be able to change it up for another party.

Neon green duct tape... I am high class huh? Also don't mind my dowels are different. Last minute I decided to add the paper medallions and I needed the height of the original dowel that was suppose to be behind the bench. I would normally do two short dowels like the one on the right.
