What Our Crew Would Do- Melissa

Hello fellow crafters! I'm back with another block project! You may remember my chalkboard blocks tutorial. Today I'm going to be showing you vintage grocery blocks for your little shopping helper.

Supply List
various blocks from The Wood Connection
sponge Brushes
sandpaper
wood Glue
printables of your groceries
paint to match your groceries

Start by sanding your blocks. The smoother the wood the better the paint goes on. Next, paint your blocks to match the grocery printables.
Next you'll cut out the printables. I printed mine on my home printer with cardstock and sized them to fit on the blocks.
Using the white wood glue we sell in our store, spread a thin even coat over the front of the block and lay the cardstock down. Smooth it out for a few minutes while it dries. For step by step photo instructions for this part you can see this tutorial from our tutorials page. If any cardstock is hanging over the edge you can sand it off with sandpaper.

And here they are! All they need is a shopping cart and someone to push it. Thanks for reading!
