Tutorial Tuesday: Washi Tape Banner

Let me introduce you to my latest obsession! WASHI TAPE! This stuff is so fun and it can be used on so many crafts. Not to mention that there are so many fabulous prints that you can find. And we just started carrying it in the store. Today I'm going to show you one of our new Valentine's projects using washi tape and baker's twine to make the cutest banner.

For this project I used 3 different colors of tape and cut 18 two inches strips (six of each color) You'll also need 1 yard of bakers twine. Take a strip of tape and line up the twine in the middle of the tape.

Now don't blink or you'll miss it. Fold the tape together and press. Now cut a small traingle out of the bottom. Super easy, right?

Continue along the bakers twine until you have all the banners you want. And boom, you're done.

I also wanted to share the printable I used with you. It is for personal use only so please no selling or distrubiting.

Thanks for reading. If you have a question that you'd like to see for my next post you can email me at woodconnection@live.com with "tutorial tuesday" in the subject line. Until next time; Happy Crafting!

  1. Isn't Washi Tape the best!! I've never made a banner with it, but I've used it for lots of other fun things. :)
