Pinterest Inspired Projects Guest Post

Hi! This is Bethia from Pinterest Inspired Projects, and this is my first post for The Wood Connection. I was introduced to The Wood Co about a year ago. Since then I have made lots of fun things for my home.

My most recent project is base on these beautiful candlestick letters I have seen, that spell out anything you want it to. I choose BABY, for all of the baby showers I am hosting and attending. I also can see this repurposed for a baby room.

Supplies

4 candlesticks - I choose 2 of 2 different sizes

4 bases

4 spindles

4 3x5 photo blocks

Thin letters (with curlies)

Paper and paint

Sponge Brushes

Sandpaper

If you notice the paper on my Y is upside down, I did this on accident. I thought the hole for the spindle was the bottom of my block. To fix this you only need to put another piece of paper over the old one. If the surface isn't smooth, just sand it down a little. I wasn't sure how to fix it until the wonderful women at The Wood Co told me how to fix it!

The best part of this project is the different things you could make depending on the seasons. I can envision a BOO in blacks and oranges, or Joy in greens and reds.
