What Our Crew Would Do- Melissa

Melissa here for What Our Crew Would Do and today I'd like to show you a couple of projects that are great for kids to make. They are both really easy and way cute!

My first project is chalkboard blocks. Here are the supplies you'll need and you can find everything at The Wood Connection.

Rust-O-Leum Chalkboard Paint
Foam Roller
Sanding Black
Various Sizes of blocks

You'll start by sanding your blocks, the smoother the surface the better the chalk will write on the finished block. Using the foam roller and the plastic case it come with, pour the chalkboard paint into the tray and fill the roller with paint and roll onto your blocks.
I did three coats on each block, letting it dry a couple hours between each coat. Youi'll want to let the paint dry at least 24 hours before you use it.

I gave them to my son Jack to use for his lego men. He loved it!

His finished masterpiece!

Thanks for reading! And look for my next post using the same blocks next month.
