Bridgey Widgey Guest Post

Hey everyone, it is Bridget from Bridgeywidgey.com and I recently decorated a party that involved a lot of hairy mustaches ;)
I used the wood mustaches from The Wood Connection for the center pieces for my Mustache Bash and I simply decorated them a little. I wanted to give the normal wood mustaches some texture so what better way then with hair like fabric. Gross I know, but it made them that much more real looking.
Let's get started...

Get your supplies. I chose different shaped mustaches and different size dowels for the center pieces as well as the front walk way.

STEP 1. Prime and paint your mustaches and dowels.

I used fur sheets from Hobby Lobby but you can also use the roll. I found the sheets to be easier and cheaper. You also need a glue gun to glue on the fur. I love my Imaginisce cordless PINK glue gun.

STEP 2: Trace the mustache onto the sheet of fur/hair

STEP 3: Hot glue the hair onto the wooden mustache.

STEP 4: Once glued on, trim any excess hair.

YOUR DONE!
NOW it is time to come over and enter in to win 25 dollars to The Wood Connection where you can to purchase mustaches or anything your heart desires ;)
