Hi, Amy here again, from The Happy Scraps today. I'm SO excited to be back today sharing a project with you. This project is made using the brand new Monogram Letters that The Wood Connection has. These letters are 17" tall and the width changes depending on the letter. This letter C is about 12" wide, and they are only $5.95! I knew when I saw this that I wanted to put paper on the front of it, but being 17" tall, that was going to be a little bit tricky. I'll show you how I did it.

I started by lining up the pattern of the chevron paper, and then taping it in place.
Then I turned the paper over and taped the back really well.
I removed the tape on the front, and then set the C down on the paper and traced it. Then cut the paper out for the letter and set it aside.
I painted the edges, and then adhered the paper to the front, overlapping the seam a little bit, making sure that the chevron on the paper lined up right.
Then I embellished with this fun ribbon {from The Wood Connection}, buttons, and paper right over the top of the seam. The embellishments kind of really make me happy. I love how they turned out!
This Monogram Letter is definitely one of my very favorite projects that I've ever finished! It makes me happy just looking at it.
The Wood Connection has been so generous and is giving away a $25 Gift Certificate over on The Happy Scraps blog! You could buy a few of these Monogram Letters with that! :) Come on over to check it out and enter!

I love this idea! So creative! :)
